Power tool reviews for a dewalt screw gun.

I own a dewalt screw gun and ryobi and black and decker and skil screwgun. The reason i own so many is i use them so much and try new ones every now and then.

The dewalt dry wall screw gun is a good screw gun for the price. It is very well made and last a long time. The balance and feel of this dewalt screw gun is very good with little fatigue.

The drywall screw gun is model DW257. It is a 6.2 amp screwgun with 0 to 2,500 rpm. Is has the standard depth set nose piece. You set depth and screw gun sets screws to same depth every time. I preffer a drywall screw gun with a one piece all plastic nose. Some screw guns have all metal or plastic with metal tip. I do not like the metal tip plastic ones because you can loose the metal tip if you drop the screw gun.

This drywall screw gun has more than enough power to do all the jobs you will ever use it for. From dry wall to decking this screw guns works good. The price is in the middle range for screw guns. You can get this dewalt screw gun for $90 and up.

I do have a few cheap screw guns made by black and decker and they work very well for sheetrock and other jobs also. If your a home onwer you might find a black and deker screw gun for less and it will work fine for you. I preffer the dewalt screw gun over black and decker because i use it everyday. This is more of a contractors screw gun and great for sub floors and decking besides drywall.

For the price this dewalt screw gun is a good deal and will last along time. If you use a screw gun alot this is a great screwgun with a good price that will last you a long time. This is one of the power tools i use daily. This is a very good power tool for the cost.

Sliding compound miter saw.

Todays power tools review is on a sliding compound miter saw. I personaly use the delta compound miter sliding saw with folding stand. The mitersaw is called the delta sidekick.

I bought the sliding compound miter saw 9 years ago and have had only one problem with the compound miter saw since. I broke the platsic on the saw blade guard when loading the sliding miter saw in my truck. I just took of the guard and used it since. No problems with the delta sliding compound miter saw since.

The 10" compound miter saw can cut 2x8 and 4x4 at 90 degrees. You can cut larger pieces but you have to cut from both sides. The only thing i would do different is buy a sliding compound miter saw with out the stand. I would buy a cheap sliding compound miter saw for table top use. Easier to load and lighter.

The power of the delta compound miter saw is good. The adjustments are easy and fast. They stay locked in and make same cut every time. The dust colletcor works good and is easy to use on this mitersaw.

The delta power tool is well made and works good. I would buy a cheaper coumpound miter saw next time. I will always keep this sliding compound miter saw at home and use the smaller one for job sites.

Most home owners will not need a sliding compound miter saw like this. It cost me over $500 new and does more than most weekend warriors will ever use it for. Contractors will like the delta sliding compound miter saw but most will preffer the table top version with out built in stand. The delta miter saw pictured above is one with out stand and might be a regular miter saw with no slider.

I prefer mitersaws with the old style handle. The new side ways handles are not comfortable to me. It all depends on your choice for power tools but i like this style better.

The power tools store below has some low cost cheap power miter saws. The lowest price miter saw is $99 but i would buy the one for $199. That is a good cheap price for a sliding compound miter saw. It has all the options most people will ever use and contractors will like the low cost in case it is lost.

Ryobi router.

Power tool review of a ryobi router. The ryobi router i personaly use is a ryobi router with 1 1/2horsepower. It has no plunge and is a cheap router. Thier is no speed adjustment either.

If you need a serious router for cabinet making this is not the one for you. If you need a cheap router that cost half as much as most good routers than this is the router for you.

The ryobi router uses 1/4 router bits. It cuts to a depth of 1 1/2 inches. The router comes with a case to keep the router and wrenches but no bits. Makes it easy to store router but i would like to be able to have bits in case also.

This is a good router for a homeowner or contractor who does not need a plunge router. Contractors can use this router when they do not need plunge router and not worry about it being stolen. The cost is cheap for a router and i would use this router on jobs that do not need a better router.

Home onwers will be able to do most jobs with this router. They will not be able to use large router bits for cabinet making or low speed use. This is above the actual use most home owners will use this router for.

If you want a router for some basic work this is the best cheap router. Solid feel works good. Good power and tracks well when routing. Stays flat and makes good clean cuts. This is a Good power tool for the price.

If you want a better router for more precise and cabinet work get a bosch or dewalt. if you want a cheap reliable router for half the price than this is the one for you.

I have owned this ryobi router for 4 years now and it works fine. I do have a bsoch router but i use this router when i do not need to use the plunge router or cabinet bits. If i burn this router out it cost me half the price of the other routers so i am ahead. I have a few ryobi power tools but this is the one i like the best.

Makita cordless circular saw.

Todays power tool review is on the makita cordless circular saw. The maketa circular saw is model 5090DW. It is a 3-3/8-Inch Cordless Circular Saw. The rpm for this cordless circular saw is from 0 to 1,000 rpm wityh no load. The makitta power tool can cut 45 degree angles and cuts up to 55/64" deep at 90 degrees.

I have owned this makita circular saw for over 8 years now. I use it for everything that a small circular saw is needed for. From cuting sofit vents in wood sofits to drywall and even cutting grout and subfloors out. I use this power tool for installing sofit vents all the time.

I like useing this makita cordless circular saw for cuting the grout and the sub floor when i remove a tile floor. I cut throught the grout and just enough to cut sub floor plywood and not second layer of plywood. I can then pry pices up in one piece. This makes for fast work on removeing old tile floors. Not much dust because this cordless saw has a slower rpm than regular circular saws.

I suggest anyone who does this have atleast 2 batteries for the cordless saw because it uses the battery up fast. The battery charge last long if your doing dry wall cuts or soft materials but grout and plywood will drain battery faster.

This makita power tool last a long time. Yes i use tis power tool very hard. Anyone who knows how hard gruot and plywood knows this is tough on a cordless saw. The saw works great. Not one problem with the makita corldess saw yet. I only had to buy one new battery and i use them in my makita drill also.


The makita cordless circular saw is light weight and not to power full. Most people will have no problem useing this cordless saw. A contractor might want a more powerfull cordless saw but this saw has a advantage because of the small size. It can get into some places other cordles saws can not.

The makita saw is a great cordless saw for home owners and some contractors will find it very good. I would say for the money it lasts longer than most cordless saws. I am very hard on power tools i like to get things done fast. This makita cordless circular saw has been droped on concrete and from ladders. Not one crack in case and it works fine.

I recommend this cordless makita saw to anyone who wants a small cordless circular saw. It does the job well and is very tough. I like this power tool.

Milwaukee sawzall.

My power tool review on the milwaukee sawzall.

The milwaukee sawzal is one of my favorite saw zall period. The milwaukee sawzall i use personaly is the 6523-21 Super Sawzall. It is a 13 Amp Reciprocating Saw made by millwaukee power tools.

The milwauke sawzall is very well balanced. Has a good feel and very comfortable considering the work you do with it. Out of all the reciprocal saws i have tried this one is my favorite.

I can tell you that the milwaukee Reciprocating Saw stands up to harsh treatment very well. I have droped it dragged it and beat on this sawzall to no end. It works as good as new no problems with it ever. I have owned the milwaukee sawzall for over 3 years now and it works as good as the first day i bought this powertool.

I am very impressed by the milwaukee sawzall. No problems works great. Fast and rugged sawzall. Contractors like it and any homeowner or weekend warrior will have this power tool for years with no problem.

It has more than enough power for all your sawzall needs. They have a great selection of sawzall blades for any type of use. From fine blade for metal to ruff cut for fast cuts this sawzall does it all.

The milwaukee sawzal comes with a carring case to store the power tool and blades. The sawzall has a rpm range of 0 to 3,000 rpms. More than enough for any work you want to do with it. This is not a cordless sawzall. It is made for heavy duty use and alot of work each day.

The prices is in the $200 range. You can find some deals on this sawzall from time to time. It would be considered more of a heavy duty contractor sawzall. I still say if a home owner wants to buy a sawzall this would be a great choice. You pay a little more than a good sawzall but this power tool will last forever.

The cheap sawzalls on the market today cause fatiuge faster than this tool ever will. They might last a few years and cost hal as much but this milwauke sawzall will be around as long as most owners will need it. If you need a sawzall and will use it spend the extra money and get this sawzall. It will last a long time and will get the job done faster than a cheap sawzall will.

Black decker drill.

The black and decker drill is a good cheap drill that anyone can use. This is a low cost drill that most home owners will be happy with.

The black and decker drill i own is one of many drills i use. I use this drill at home or when i do not need a heavy duty drill. I save my more expenseive drills for heavy duty use.

The black and decker drill review is on the Black and Decker model DR201K. It is a 5 Amp 3/8-Inch Drill with Keyless Chuck. Most people love keyless chucks and i use them daily. I like a keyed chuck when doing heavy duty work with a drill like drilling in concrete or heavy gauge metal.

The black decker drill has a good feel so you do not fatigue fast from it. It has good power and speed for most jobs. Rpm is 0-1350 RPM and has the regular drill features like Lock On Button For Continuous Use.

I have had no problem with the black+decker dril. I use it for drilling in wood and thin metal. I would use a heavier duty drill for concrete or meta angle iron. The drill has a case that i have drill bit set and other things in so i am not looking for them when i need it.

I owned this black and decker drill for 2 years now and have no complaints. It does the job most people will use it for. If you need a drill for heavy metal or concrete buy a heavier duty drill. This drill is made for home owners and it does the job very well for most things.

You can get the black and decker drill for around $40 so it is a very cheap drill that last longer than i would have thought. Yes i do use it hard and sometimes i should use heavier duty drill but this drill keeps on going and not one problem with it so far.

The drill is not cordless. Some will not like this but it has better power than most cordless drills and can do alot more work because thier is no battery to recharge. You just plug it in and it runs forever. The cord is a plus and draw back. Pain dragging cord around but nice because i never have to stop working because i need to recharge the batteries.

My power tool review for the black and decker drill is very simple. It is a cheap drill with good power. Works good gets most jobs a home onwer would use it for done fast and easy. Would i buy it yes. Would i use for heavy duty use like concrete no i would use a dewalt or Bosch drill for that.

Home owners will find the blackndecker drill more than enough for all but the toughest jobs. Very nice drill for the price and i will buy another one if i ever need to. You can buy the black and decker drill at the power tool store below.
